Alteso attended Solar Asset Management Europe 2017 from 7th to 8th of November, 2017. Our Technical Director, Gerhard Mütter, successfully chaired two sessions “Long term O&M strategies” and “Analyzing Aging Assets”.
On 11 October 2017 Alteso’ Technical Director Gerhard Mütter jointly presented the webinar “Quantification of module soiling: data analysis and innovative methods” on the SolarPlaza platform. Soiling is an issue not discussed regularly in Europe; especially in the northern countries. Alteso’ Technical Director Gerhard Mütter spoke at the EU PVSEC 2017 on September 26th in Amsterdam on the topic of “Detection of Premature Degradation in Utility Scale PV Plants Based on Advanced Monitoring Data Analysis” and how our PEAK technology can identify and tackle this issue. From September 20-22, the AES team visited the Renewable Energy Expo 2017 in New Delhi, India. Our COO, Günter Maier, and Technical Director, Gerhard Mütter, gave speeches regarding their O&M experiences using advanced data analysis for Indian plants as well as key factors for proper implementation of the the AES-developed advanced data analysis technology PEAK, in India. Robert Buchinger (CTO) of DAS Energy, Austrian producers of lightweight, flexible solar modules and a joint venture subsidiary of Alternative Energy Solutions, spoke at the Business & Climate Summit on August 31st, 2017 in New Delhi, India. Robert Buchinger participated at the panel session “Innovation in Technology and Business Models for Mitigation”, where he discussed how both start-ups and world’s largest companies can be motivated to develop climate mitigation and adaptation technologies and finding a convergence between profitability and sustainability.
